KREEFT & LEGROW DONATE OFFICE SPACE TO HOMEAID!

L to R, Lori Wilkinson, Partner; David Kreeft, Principal/Owner, and Kelly LeGrow, Principal/Owner
Thanks
to the generosity of Kreeft & LeGrow, an employee benefits company,
HomeAid Southern Nevada (HASN) has a new place to call home. The
new office was constructed by Crisci Builders and is also home to Crisci
headquarters. The building also provides an extraordinary lobby
environment available for future HASN cocktail receptions and intimate
fundraisers.
Prior
to sharing space with Kreeft & LeGrow, HomeAid was fortunate to
share office space with Jerry Dye and Duncan Lee, whom also donated the
space.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Klif Andrews
There
are over 13,000 homeless in our back yard! With every pink slip
and posted 'out-of-business' notice that number is growing, and so is
the need. In these difficult times, there is no doubt that we have our
work cut out for us. As
I contemplate what lies ahead, I am motivated by the accomplishments we
have achieved to date - including the development of St. Jude's Ranch
for Children, Lutheran Social Services, and Boys Hope...endeavors that
provided not only a change to many lives, but a great sense of
satisfaction knowing that in some way, we have all been a part of the solution.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE - Kathleen Dye
HomeAid
Chapters across the country just brought to a close the
celebration of 20 years of helping those less fortunate. I am
continually reminded of the enormous good our industry does for its
community.
Having
celebrated this special anniversary across the nation, the timing
seemed fitting to launch this inaugural e-newsletter - as a vehicle not
only to inform our supporters of what's new in our Chapter - but as a
means to highlight the many that do so much to make positive change.

Day of Hope Volunteers take a break to smile for the camera
As
an integral part of the HomeAid Southern Nevada (HASN) family, Pardee
Homes continues to provide an inspirational example of what it takes to
stand up and be counted on behalf of the homeless. This level of
commitment was demonstrated when Pardee directed a volunteer force of
more than 500 building professionals who donated time, materials, and
money toward the renovation of St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder
City, Nevada.

LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES
Serving Homeless Families
PROJECT HOPE AT ADAMS AVENUE Nancy Higgins and Sam Goldstein from Newland Communities congratulate Peggy and Savannah on their new home!
Lutheran
Social Services' "Project Hope at Adams Avenue" was long overdue for a
complete five-unit apartment renovation - all in desperate need of
hazardous cleaning, painting, flooring, appliances, and plumbing.
To
meet that need, Pardee Homes generously stepped up as Builder Captain,
taking to the task of completing the interior renovation; including
furnishing the units with model home interiors, styled by Pardee's
creative design team. To complete the project, Pardee also
upgraded the exterior to include new landscaping, painting, and security
gate repair.
