Medical catastrophe, abuse or neglect by a parent, domestic violence, sudden job loss, mortgage crisis, natural disaster, mental illness . . . Although Las Vegas is a fascinating, contradictory city filled with opportunity, it is at the same time all-American.  With over 11,000 homeless on any given night, and only 1,800 shelter beds, this problem has grown as rapidly as our city.

Nationally, 90% of homelessness is situational and 10% chronic.  HomeAid is a national organization dedicated to partnering service providers with the building industry.  Since 1989, 166 projects have been completed, impacting more than 80,000 people.  HomeAid Southern Nevada is dedicated to partnering with the community, finding a solution and solving this crisis.
